Oct 06,  · Heaven 17 continued to make good records, including their work with B.E.F. (British Electronic Foundation), but never came close to the brilliance and great songwriting of "Penthouse and Pavement." Also note that the album is engineered and co-produced by Peter Walsh, who worked on the later Scott Walker masterpieces.

The vinyl album itself is very clean. Artista is the Album Label from the year The hit songs on here by Heaven 17 are- Let me Go--Penthouse and pavement--Geisha boys and temple Girls--I'M Your Money. when buying this please know that the right bottom cover is in not very good shape. The band performed the album in its entirety on 14 October at London’s Roundhouse, the first night featured Heaven 17 performing the album in "3-D sound" developed by Ware himself. The show is a sequel of sorts to the Penthouse and Pavement concerts the band played in /5(8).

Heaven 17 - Penthouse and Pavement () [24bit FLAC] , Geisha Boys And Temple Girls () 6. Let's All Make A Bomb () 7. The Height Of Fighting () 8. Song With No Name () The first album from Heaven 17, Marsh and Ware's new trio with singer Glenn Gregory, wasn't greeted with quite the same commercial kudos.

Superb debut LP from these pioneers of Sheffield Synth-pop. Includes the classic tracks '(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thing', 'Play To Win', 'Soul Warfare', 'Geisha Boys And Temple Girls', 'The Height Of The Fighting', preslitciacontacoselfzamamanlacon.co and vinyl are quite worn. A1 .

Heaven 17 were perhaps unique then in that, thanks to their talented musicianship, they knew how to work around such instruments in a positive manner. Enter 'Penthouse and Pavement', the ultimate satire of 'Yuppy' culture that spawned from the likes of Thatcherism and new capitalist ideals for the young working man - commonly viewed as owning a dodgy clip-on ponytail and primitive mobile phone/5(59).
